The Centre

This lovely 110 place service is located in the heart of Coogee, they are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging educator to join their well established team. This service delivers high quality early education and care programmes for children ages six weeks to 6 years. This service has a beautiful and spacious outdoor area with light filled classrooms giving educators the space to create nurturing environments for both children and educators to thrive in.

The Position:

As a Certificate III or Diploma assistant educator, you will be responsible to:

• Create and maintain a fun, safe, healthy, productive and effective learning environment
• Create and maintain meaningful and positive relationships with children and families
• Create and/or implement the educational program for your room through intentional activities, an extension of spontaneous activities and interests and family input
• Wok alongside and collaboratively with other educators and leaders within the service to ensure successful learning outcomes for children
• Adhere to NQS as well as company policies and procedures to ensure the service is complain as well as assist in achieving a rating or meeting or exceeding in A&R

About you

To be successful in this position you must have:

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care OR an ACECQA equivalent qualification
• Good understanding and knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
• A current Working with Children's Check
• Current First Aid Certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtain
• Food Handling Certificate
• Prior experience working in childcare
• Unrestricted working rights
