Risk Issues and Dependencies Manager - 12 month contract with 6 month extension - $900 - $1100 a day inc super
Key Responsibilities:
Risk Management
Maintain the program risk management framework aligned with departmental and enterprise-level risk practices.
Identify, assess, prioritise, and monitor program and project-level risks across all STEPS workstreams.
Facilitate regular risk meetings and reviews with delivery teams and key stakeholders.
Prepare and present risk reports and escalation summaries to the program governance advisory groups / boards and senior leadership.
Issue Management
Maintain the program issues register and ensure timely resolution and escalation of critical issues.
Support program teams to identify and document issues as they arise, including root cause analysis and impact assessment.
Work with managers of sub-programs and delivery managers to develop and track resolution actions and mitigation plans.
Provide program-wide visibility of issues to inform decision-making and maintain delivery confidence.
Dependencies Management
Maintain a central register of internal and external dependencies across the STEPS program.
Work with product owners, delivery managers, and stakeholders to identify, document, and monitor key dependencies.
Track and report on the status of dependencies, including risks to delivery and mitigation plans.
Coordinate with external stakeholders, systems owners, and business areas to align delivery timelines and resource commitments.
Governance and Reporting
Provide regular updates and reporting to governance bodies.
Support assurance activities, including internal reviews, audits, and gateway assessments.
Ensure all risk, issue, and dependency information is current and integrated into program dashboards and management tools.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster proactive risk and dependency management.
Act as a central point of contact for RID matters across the program.
Provide subject matter advice and guidance to delivery teams on RID management best practices.
