Are you passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives? Sapphire Support is seeking enthusiastic Disability Support Workers to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide care in our Supported Independent Living (SIL), Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), and Community Access Services (CAS). You will work with participants with varying needs, including complex disabilities & Mental Health.
If you’re proactive, thrive on routine, communicate effectively, and have experience supporting individuals with similar needs, we’d love to hear from you!
About Sapphire Support:
Sapphire Support is a fully registered NDIS provider based on the Sunshine Coast. We specialise in mental health, psychosocial disorders, and complex physical and intellectual disabilities. We are highly regarded and offer comprehensive support services to NDIS participants.

Reliability and Work Ethic:
Flexibility to work across a range of houses and with a variety of participants. They do say variety is the spice in life :)
Must be well-groomed, dependable, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to build trust-based relationships with participants and team members.
Passion and Experience:
Prior experience with working with individuals with complex needs is a advantage , as well as the ability to handle challenging situations, are highly regarded.
Strong values around care, service, and personal development.
Positive Attitude:
A can-do outlook, a sense of humour, and the ability to bring positivity to every situation.
Proactive, organised, and a strong communicator.

Flexibility:
We have shifts if you are willing to work a variety of shifts including nights and weekends , with some flexibility to meet the needs of our participants. We provide 24/7 Support and require you to be available to work a combination of Day Shifts, Nights Weekends & Sleepovers if asked.

What You Need:
Experience working with individuals with mental health and/or disability support needs.
A proactive, positive attitude with a passion for turning challenges into successes.
A general understanding of WH&S, Current First Aid and CPR certification is essential.
A valid QLD driver’s license and reliable transportation with Comprehensive Insurance is essential.
Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent Certification is an advantage, however, if you are willing to under take a cert 3 course we will consider you.
Current NDIS Worker's Screening (Yellow Card) is essential.
Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) is essential.
