About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Cook/Chef for a short term (4-6 weeks) for an immediate start. This is an excellent opportunity to see the delights of one of the most popular tourist towns in Australia... ESPERANCE!!! Come down and enjoy the scenery while joining our culinary team providing excellence in fine dining cuisine.

As a Cook/Chef (Short Term), you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals for our customers, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. This is a casual position, offering flexibility in work hours and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic hospitality team.

What you'll be doing

Prepare, cook and plate a variety of dishes to our customers' satisfaction

Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations

Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain efficient workflow and high productivity

Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment

Provide exceptional customer service and respond to any customer requests or feedback

What we're looking for

Formal culinary qualification or equivalent experience as a Chef

Demonstrated experience in a similar role within a fast-paced hospitality environment

Excellent food preparation and cooking skills, with a strong understanding of flavours and presentation

Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure

Commitment to upholding high food safety and hygiene standards

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demands
