About the Business Unit:
Employee and Workplace Relations is responsible for management of the Justice portfolio's industrial relations program, the management of departmental employee relations issues, the department's Human Resource Business Partnerships, employee investigations and also administers the internal review of actions process.
About the Role:
Exciting opportunities are available for experienced workplace relations specialists to join our workplace relations team. The position incumbent will be responsible for working across an extensive range of employment matters in an exciting and dynamic organisation.
Some of your duties will include:
- Providing consultancy advice on complex human resource issues
- Supporting departmental managers and human resource business partners in resolving individual employee case management issues
- Contributing to the improvement of human resource practice across the department.

About You:
The ideal candidate will be able to display:
- specialist experience in case management of complex human resources issues
- significant experience in advising on human resource policy, processes and legislation
- experience advising senior stakeholders on people management issues
- development and delivery of people management strategies and projects
- high-level written communication and experience in developing complex documentation
