Salary Range: $84,077-$121,092 per annum pending experience + $12,648 ML Allowance + Super

Classification: Middle Leadership - Tier 2

St Margaret Mary's College, Hyde Park is a Townsville Girls Catholic College, founded in 1963 by the Sisters of the Good Samaritan. The College accepts enrolments from girls in years 7 to 12, and offers a wide variety of subjects and vocational programs. About the role

St Margaret Mary's College, Hyde Park is seeking a dedicated and experienced Secondary Teacher - Middle Leader - Pastoral. This is a Full Time, Permanent Teaching role with a Fixed-Term Appointment to Acting Pastoral Leader until the 17 January 2027 and the role commencing as soon as practicable.

The Pastoral Leader supports the mission of the College through effective leadership in supporting students as College and community members. The successful applicant will demonstrate leadership in three dimensions: leadership of teaching and learning, human leadership and strategic leadership.

Mandatory Criteria/Professional Registration/Other

Appropriate Tertiary qualification with registration or eligibility for registration with Queensland College of Teachers

Current Driver’s Licence

Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville

Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner.
