Tenure: Full Time, with Fixed-Term Appointment to Middle Leader role until 5 December 2025
Salary Range: $84,077 - $121,092 per annum pending experience + $9,489 ML Allowance
Incentives: IPRASS and ITAS Allowance

About the role
Good Shepherd Catholic College, Mount Isa is seeking a dedicated Secondary Teacher - (Humanities) + Curriculum Leader . This is a full time, fixed term teaching role with a fixed term appointment to the Middle Leader position until Monday 5 December 2025. The successful applicant will be required to teach Humanities.
The Curriculum Leader- Humanities supports the mission of the College through leadership of specific academic, cultural, or other defined programs offered to students and/or the College community. This involves interacting with students, staff and parents in an appropriate manner as well as developing and implementing effective processes and practices in keeping with the values and ethos of the College and designed to accomplish the desired outcomes of the specific program. Depending on the nature of the program, the role may also involve interacting with personnel and organisations outside the College community and developing partnerships that enhance results for students.

Mandatory Criteria/Professional Registration/Other
Appropriate Tertiary qualification with registration or eligibility for registration with Queensland College of Teachers
Current Driver’s Licence
Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner.
