Our client is one of Victoria's largest healthcare provider delivering integrated community and hospital-based services and programs focusing on improving the health of our community.

We are seeking a Deputy Director, Employee Relations with sound industrial relations experience for a 12-14 month fixed term contract.

The Deputy Director, Employee Relations, is a key leadership role within the P&C Leadership Team and is responsible for overseeing all of the key functions of the Employee Relations team.

The role is integral in ensuring the appropriate governance, monitoring, and reporting of a range of workplace matters relating to compliance with the organisation's ER/IR requirements, workplace regulations, laws and industrial instruments. Leading a team of ER Advisors, this key leadership role is required to implement and complete large HR-related projects designed to improve employee experience and enhance manager capability.

The Deputy Director, Employee Relations will provide high-quality employee relations support to executives, senior managers and employees while being the point of contact for external parties such as the Department of Health and industrial associations. The role will design and implement end-to-end solutions for a range of people matters including workplace change, complex cultural change work, compliance with enterprise agreement terms and conditions and changes in employment laws.

This role is required to think strategically about the impact of employee relations activities on all functional areas of Human Resources such as recruitment and HRIS as well as impacts on Finance and Payroll systems, and the broader organisation.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced ER/IR Leader ideally from the healthcare, or related sector with a complex industrial relations framework. With exceptional communication skills, you will have proven experience in workplace change management, advocating matters in external tribunals, i.e. Fair Work Commission, as well as coaching and leading a team of ER/HR Advisors.

Remuneration package - $180,000 - $200,000 plus salary packaging benefits
