About the role
Are you passionate about supporting people and creating positive work environments?
Pro Dive Cairns is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Human Resources Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This position plays a vital role in supporting the business, overseeing core human resource functions, such as recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, workers compensation and learning and development.
This position is part time with specific days and times to be negotiated with the successful candidate.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Manage day-to-day human resource inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures
Coordinate recruitment and onboarding activities and ensure compliance with company hiring policies and relevant employment legislation
Assist in the planning and delivery of employee engagement surveys and follow-up action plans
Ensure all employees are compliant with required certifications and have appropriate working rights
Manage the administration of workers compensation claims, including reporting, documentation and supporting injured workers through the return-to-work process in collaboration with managers and health professionals
Promote employee wellbeing and maintain a positive team culture
About you
We are looking for candidates who have:
Previous experience with Human Resources
Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator qualification (or ability to obtain)
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
A valid driver’s license
