Are you a seasoned financial professional with a passion for precision and a knack for navigating complex financial landscapes? We're looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our Finance team in Brisbane.

In this pivotal role, you'll drive commercial outcomes with your expertise in financial reporting and compliance. You'll have the opportunity to lead transformation projects that streamline processes and enhance efficiency, making a tangible impact on our organisation's success.

Collaboration is at the heart of what we do. You'll work closely with the wider Finance team, Executive Leadership, and external auditors to ensure top-notch financial reporting. This role offers continuous learning and development opportunities, keeping you ahead of the curve in the ever evolving financial landscape.

Duties include the below, but are not limited to:

Prepare Tridata reporting and quarterly financial reports.

Ensure compliance with statutory accounting obligations, including IFRS.

Facilitate year-end financial audits and prepare statutory financial statements.

Support tax preparation and manage financial disclosures.

Lead various reporting and cost control projects.

Assist with development of Group accounting policies.

Prepare accounting advice papers.

Identify opportunities for enhancements and streamlining of processes.

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:

Qualifications: Degree in Business/Commerce, Finance, or a related field. CPA/CA/ACA/CIMA/CIS/ACCA certification preferred.

Experience: 10+ years in a professional services or commercial role with technical accounting exposure.

Skills: Advanced Excel, SAP experience, strong technical accounting knowledge, and the ability to work to tight deadlines.

Attributes: High personal work standards, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset.
