Beach and Bay Vet is looking for another happy and enthusiastic vet to join our 5 vet team.

Come work with us! Our vets all have from 6 to 30 years experience, and still all enjoy being vets! Our primary focus is our team – we aim to make every day the best it can possibly be!

Privately owned and run by the working mum team of owner, practice manager and hospital coordinator, all of who believe in family time and flexible rosters. No afterhours – two 24hr clinics and one specialist clinic locally. We are an ISFM silver cat clinic and stress-free handling accredited.

We have multiple regular visiting specialists including; dental, internal medicine, ultrasound and echocardiography.

Full or part-time work is your choice. We have one full-timer who does 3.5 days/week and one Saturday 830am-1pm/month, and the rest of the vet team are all part-time.

We foster and encourage our vets to pursue their individual interests, take lunch, take holidays and work in the ways that keeps them enjoying their job. Regular vet meetings keep us all connected and up to date and we work in a supportive and collaborative way every day. Well above award pay, with annual wage reviews, as well as paid overtime and all the expected benefits (super, study leave and CE budget) including paid maternity leave.

We have a fantastic, dedicated reception team, and our nursing team are all fully qualified and are exceptional. Our senior nursing team are all registered and we work hard to keep all our nurses engaged in continuing education and their own career progression.

All the usual toys including digital rads, dental rads, ultrasound, tonometry, full in-house blood machines, including lactate and coags, and excellent anaesthetic monitoring setups with IVF, BP, ETC02 and ECG.

We are a young clinic (6.5yrs in) and continually focused on improving, while also enjoying our days! Our focus is always team wellbeing – we know that the most important part of being a vet is having a team you trust and enjoy being with. We have regular team learning and fun whole team activities throughout every year.
