On behalf of my clients who are a leading provider of audit and advisory services I am currently looking for an External IT Audit Senior Consultant who has prior experienced in External Information Technology audit roles ideally gained working with clients in the banking / finance sectors.

This role is open to candidates who are based in Sydney and is being offered as full-time permanent opportunity with flexible working on offer.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertaking IT risk & assurance services, including IT external and IT internal audits, service organisation controls reporting, IT risk assessments and IT project assurance reviews.

Conducting IT General Control walkthroughs and testing.

Performing walkthroughs and obtaining evidence using screen capture or other techniques

Evaluating the design and effectiveness of technology controls throughout the business cycles.

Writing and presenting clear and concise reports and presentations containing meaningful observations and recommendations to clients, and review documented procedures performed and conclusions reached related to projects.

To be considered for this role my clients are looking for candidates with the following skills / experience:

At least 2 + years of EXTERNAL IT Audit experience

Solid understanding of most areas of General IT Controls (Access management, change management, IT operations)

Able to write clearly to document processes and controls.

Understanding and experience of controls testing

Ensuring that work is supported by sufficient and appropriate evidence.

Further information:

Both local and overseas experience will be considered, as long as you have Australian Working Rights while on a visa.

Prio Big4 and audit experience is desirable.

Open to Working Holiday Visa (WHV) holders with IT audit experience.
