National Audits Group is continuing to expand, and we’re looking for a driven, detail-oriented Intermediate Auditor to join our Wagga based External Audit team. This role is ideal for someone ready to take the next step in their audit career—with the confidence to lead engagements and the curiosity to keep learning.

Your Impact

Take ownership of audit engagements – undertake audits from planning to completion, taking ownership of the process and ensuring accuracy every step of the way.

Conduct in-depth audit work on complex client files – Perform more complex substantiative testing and analytical procedures independently.

Deliver high-quality work – Prepare clear, compliant financial statements and supporting documentation with precision and care.

Mentor and support – Guide junior team members, review their work, and help build a strong, capable team.

Strengthen client relationships – Communicate professionally, understand client needs, and proactively identify issues and solutions.

Collaborate across teams – Work closely with colleagues to deliver consistent, seamless service across all engagements.

What You Bring

Experience & qualifications – 2–3 years of audit experience. Actively completing your CPA/CA qualification.

Strong Audit Knowledge – You’re proficient in the use of audit software and related tools, with demonstrated understanding of Australian Accounting and Auditing Standards.

Detail Focused – You’re thorough, analytical, and hold yourself to high standards

Strong Communicator – You’re confident with clients and clear in your written and verbal communication.

Team Player – You work well independently and also support those around you.
