About the role
Founded in a commitment to providing a strong customer experience, this role will ensure a secure environment for Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) staff by overseeing security operations and contributing to responses to security and emergency alarms. This includes maintaining and effectively communicating security guidelines and procedures to staff through direct engagement and organisational communication.
Additionally, you will provide support to the Built Environment Team in the commissioning, maintenance, and repair of VLA facilities, as well as the procurement of goods and services.
This role is based at our Melbourne CBD office on Wurundjeri Country.
About you
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
- Excellent customer service experience with the ability to support service delivery.
- A current Victorian Security Licence and a current Victorian drivers licence.
- First Aid Level 2 training.
- Comprehensive knowledge of access control systems and proven ability in providing security system records, producing reports and in providing incident reports as required.
- Experience and demonstrated ability in the provision and management of a security service within a government or regulatory environment which ensures safety and security of staff and assets including operation of security systems (eg Integriti, Forcefield, Titan etc).
- Well developed communication skills.
