We are seeking an experienced program support officer/administration officer with specific experience working as an administrator within risk management and program or project assurance to work closely with the Program Office in the implementation of the managing successful programs (MSP) framework.

This role requires adaptability, attention to detail and pace with an opportunity to develop expertise in program and risk management as well as assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Portfolio Risk Analyst with program assurance and risk analysis activities.
  
  
• Assist with identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring program risks.
  
  
• Maintain risk registers, assess risk health, and utilise risk matrices.
  
  
• Support assurance activities such as internal audits, quality reviews, and health checks.
  
  
• Coordinate and provide secretariat support to governance boards and committees.
  
  
• Schedule and prepare meetings, including agendas, papers, and accurate minutes.
  
  
• Liaise with senior stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and meeting logistics.
  
  
• Maintain program inboxes, records, action registers, and follow-ups.
  
  
• Prepare correspondence, briefings, and reports to departmental standards.
  
  
• Ensure compliance with governance processes, policies, and terms of reference.
  
  

Skills & Experience:

• Experience in risk frameworks and internal control environments.
  
  
• Demonstrated experience in program/project assurance or internal audits.
  
  
• Strong administrative skills including meeting coordination, agenda preparation, and minute-taking.
  
  
• Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder liaison skills.
  
  
• High attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other collaboration tools.
  
  
• Understanding of program and project management methodologies.
