About the role

Haines Hunter, a leading manufacturer of premium boats, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Panel beater/Spray Painter/ Detailer to join our dynamic team in Derrimut, Victoria. This full-time role is integral to ensuring the high-quality finish and exceptional standards of our boats. As a key member of our production team, you will play a crucial part in delivering our customers' dream vessels.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and repairing boat panels and components to a high standard

Expertly spraying and painting boat exteriors and interiors to achieve a flawless finish

Meticulously detailing and finishing boats to exceed customer expectations

Collaborating with the production team to ensure efficient and streamlined workflows

Identifying and resolving any quality or finishing issues that arise

Maintaining a safe and organised work environment

Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards

What we're looking for

Experience as a panel beater, spray painter, and/or detailer, ideally within the boat or automotive industries

Exceptional technical skills and a keen eye for detail to achieve a consistently high-quality finish

Proficiency in the use of specialised tools and equipment required for panel beating, spray painting, and detailing

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve any issues that arise

A collaborative and teamwork-oriented approach to contribute to the overall success of the production process

A commitment to safety and a willingness to adhere to all company policies and procedures
