About the role

Joshua Blom Lawyers, a leading law firm in Bowral, NSW, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lawyer to join our dynamic team. As a Family Lawyer, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality legal services to our clients in the area of Family Law. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work alongside a team of talented legal professionals and contribute to the continued success of our firm.

What you'll be doing

Advising and representing clients in a wide range of Family Law matters, including divorce, parenting, property settlements, and more

Appearing on behalf of clients in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia

Conducting legal research, drafting documents, and preparing for court appearances

Maintaining strong client relationships and providing exceptional customer service

Staying up to date with changes in Family Law legislation and regulations

Collaborating with the wider legal team to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of legal services

What we're looking for

A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD) degree, and a valid practicing certificate

Minimum 2 years of post-admission experience in Family Law

Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Commitment to providing exceptional client service

Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in Family Law
