With one approachable and supportive Principal and a close-knit team of 6 staff, the firm provides a friendly, collaborative work environment where team members are truly valued. The firm specialises in business services, taxation, and SMSF accounting, using Handisoft and CLASS software.

THE ROLE

With a growing fee base the partner requires a Senior Accountant to join the team. The role offers flexibility, with both part-time and full-time arrangements considered to suit the right candidate.

Key responsibilities will include:

Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships

SMSF accounting and compliance using CLASS software

Business activity statements and other statutory reporting

Client advisory work as appropriate to your experience

Supporting junior team members and contributing to a positive team culture

YOU

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

Several years’ experience in public practice accounting

Strong SMSF accounting experience (experience with CLASS software highly regarded)

Proficiency with Handisoft software (or similar)

Excellent communication and organisational skills

A collaborative attitude and the ability to work well within a small team environment
