Core Talent is partnered with a leading council who are recruiting for a Heavy Plant Mechanic to join their team.

Position Overview:

• To perform daily fleet and plant maintenance and repair requirements as directed by the Team Leader Mechanics, or other managers.
• Repair Heavy Plants including, Hydraulics, Excavators, bobcats & HR vehicles, Diesel Utes and vans, trucks, ride on mowers & forklifts etc.
• To ensure that the functions of the team and tasks meet agreed targets and deadlines.
• To ensure safe work conditions are maintained and safe work practices are carried out at all times.
• To ensure all workshop equipment and property is well maintained and appropriately used to perform required work tasks.

Qualifications:

• Trade qualification as a Diesel or Plant Mechanic
• At least 3 years experience in this field
• Class HR Drivers license
• WHS Construction Induction certificate (White Card)
