SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity for a seasoned Employment Lawyer with Award experience, in particular SCHADS, and the community services sector to join a leading organisation for a 3-to-6-month contract to start ASAP.

THE COMPANY:
This established organisation operates within the healthcare and training sectors, providing essential services to healthcare, NDIS and Aged Care companies. With a strong commitment to community engagement and support, the company fosters a collaborative and growth-oriented culture. Based in the Sydney CBD.

THE ROLE:

Advise on employment law matters, with a focus on the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services (SCHADS) Award.

Reviewing pay of Award employees and remedying any issues.

Provide training and strategic counsel to HR teams and executives on compliance, restructuring, and workforce management.

ABOUT YOU:

You hold a current Australian Practicing Certificate with at least 10 years’ PQE, particularly within employment/HR/IR

Strong working knowledge Awards and while experience with the SCHADS Award would be useful it’s not essential.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.

Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player.

Commitment to ethical practice and client service excellence.
