SUMMARY:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Legal Counsel to join a highly regarded healthcare company in Sydney. This role involves negotiating and drafting commercial contracts and providing legal and regulatory advice on Healthcare, NDIS, and Aged Care.

THE ROLE:
This permanent, full-time position is based in the Sydney CBD and will include the following tasks:-

Negotiate, draft, and review commercial contracts to support business operations.

Advise on legal matters related to Health, NDIS, and Aged Care businesses, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Develop and implement policies to align with incoming legislation and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate legal risks associated with business activities.

Provide strategic legal advice to senior management, including the General Counsel, on key business initiatives.

ABOUT YOU:

You are an accomplished legal professional with at least 8 years’ PQE, particularly within the health, aged care and community services sectors.

You have experience negotiating and drafting a wide variety of commercial agreements.

You have an excellent understanding of the NDIS and aged care legislation and regulations, both current and incoming.

Strong policy development skills, with experience drafting and implementing compliance policies to meet legislative changes.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

A proactive and strategic thinker with a commercial mindset that drives practical solutions for business challenges.

You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to a growing organisation prioritising community engagement and support.
