Summary:
Oversee all clinical care functions, ensuring a safe, supportive, and person-centred environment for residents. You’ll guide and mentor the clinical team, support their development, and coordinate care planning while maintaining compliance with industry standards—all with a focus on delivering exceptional quality of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor care staff, fostering a positive team culture and supporting professional growth.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and families.
- Manage budgets, staffing, and resources effectively to maintain quality care and operational efficiency.
- Conduct routine assessments and audits to uphold high standards of service delivery.
- Respond to and resolve concerns or complaints from residents, families, or staff with empathy and professionalism.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with a current AHPRA registration.
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience in Aged Care management as a Clinical Manager or Clinical Care Coordinator.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the Aged Care standards.
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience with ANNAC.
- An outstanding proficiency in care planning, goal setting and evaluation documentation.
- Capability to effectively lead and manage a team.
