The Opportunity
Looking for a tree change?
We are seeking a Clinical Services Manager who thrives in dynamic, high-impact environments. You will be responsible for the operational management and clinical outcomes of our Alcohol and Drug Residential Programs across the region.
You will be a leader and mentor to a team of approximately 30 staff, supported by a Team Leader at each service. This full-time position requires strong leadership, clinical expertise and resilience to navigate the challenges of a residential setting.
We offer a competitive salary, plus salary packaging options. In addition, up to $5,000 in relocation assistance can be provided for a single person. Additional relocation assistance can be considered for a partner and dependents, to help you settle into the community if you are seeking a tree change.

Our Services
Lives Lived Well supports people to live their lives well. We provide support for people in Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia with concerns related to alcohol and other drugs, mental health, transitioning from corrective services, veterans’ wellbeing, and gambling.
Elouera is a residential service in Orange for women who need support in withdrawal and rehabilitation from alcohol and other drugs and offers specialist child-focused support which enables clients to have their children (under 12) remain with them during the six-week program.
Wyla Residential Services, based at the Bloomfield Hospital Campus just outside Orange, provides a safe environment for people both males and females to withdraw from alcohol and/or other drugs and offers a live-in rehabilitation service for those who have completed a detox program.
What We Are Looking For
You’ll be a dynamic and innovative leader of people who thrives in an ever-changing environment – you will be someone who has grit, resilience and a deep commitment to changing lives. With several years’ experience in the AOD, Mental Health or Residential Aged Care sector, you will understand and embrace the complexity of working in a Residential setting and have the skills and capacity to meet these unique challenges.
You’ll also have the following knowledge, skills and attributes:
- Tertiary level qualification in a relevant discipline such as Social Work, Mental Health Nursing, Allied Health, Psychology or similar.
- Exceptional clinical, financial, and people management capabilities
- Ability to lead with empathy and walk alongside your team but also engage in tough conversations when needed.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills –networking with funders and other service providers, and developing service partnerships
- Cultural awareness and a holistic approach to client care – you will have strong cultural awareness and practice at working in a culturally safe manner
- A calm, level-headed and pragmatic approach to high pressure situations
- Being adaptable, flexible and able to re-evaluate your priorities of the day – you’ll be a self-managing self-starter who loves a varying routine
- Solutions-focused and passionate about process improvements – we welcome ideas and suggestions to make things better
- Resilience, patience, and passion for supporting people through their recovery journey
You will also hold a current Australian Drivers Licence, and ability to obtain a Working With Children Check.
