About the Role

An opportunity now exists for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join a high-performing finance team in a newly created role. This position will play a key role in delivering insights, improving cost structures, and supporting strategic decision-making across a group of fast-growing businesses.

This is a commercial, project-driven role—not a traditional reporting or month-end position—ideal for someone who thrives on partnering with the business to drive performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver financial and performance analysis across products, locations, and business units
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning with data and scenario modelling
• Build business cases and financial models for new initiatives, pricing, and capital investments
• Analyse revenue, margins, cash flow, and cost structures to identify improvement opportunities
• Develop dashboards and KPIs to monitor real-time business performance
• Partner with operations, marketing, and IT to drive growth, efficiency, and system improvements
• Prepare management reports, board materials, and executive presentations
• Track and evaluate ROI on marketing campaigns, promotions, and strategic partnerships

Candidate Profile

• CPA or CA qualified
• Solid experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or business analysis roles
• Proficient in financial modelling, forecasting, and data analysis
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) a plus
• Experience in multi-site or consumer-facing industries (e.g., retail, leisure, hospitality) a plus
