2XM Recruit are actively seeking a Quality Officer in Cameron Park to join a well-established Engineering firm on a permanent basis.

Role: Quality Officer
Location: Cameron Park
Job type: Permanent
Salary: Circa $100,000 plus Super

Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections (incoming, in-process, final) to ensure product quality and compliance.

• Support development and implementation of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).

• Oversee Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and ensure documentation accuracy.

• Monitor and resolve QA/QC issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.

• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, Australian standards, and company procedures.

• Maintain calibrated measuring equipment and accurate quality records.

• Liaise with internal teams, external auditors, and global offices.

• Promote a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.

• Participate in quality meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience needed:

• Strong experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC), in an engineering or manufacturing environment (mining ideal).

• Engineering education and/or practical experience in engineering

• Experience with ISO 9001 quality systems and Australian standards.

• Skilled in using measuring tools (e.g. micrometres, callipers, dial indicators).

• Strong experience in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
