ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you a commercially minded Finance Manager with experience in the freight and logistics sector? This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, growing business where finance plays a key role in driving operational success and strategic decision-making.
Our client is a well-established Australian Owned logistics and freight forwarding company with a strong national and international presence. They are looking for a proactive Finance Manager to lead their finance function, streamline processes, and support senior leadership with insightful financial analysis.

DUTIES

• Maintain exchange rates in CargoWise
• Receipt in payments
• Making payments to shipping lines
• Sending statements and chasing payments
• Credit card payments
• Posting general ledger transactions
• Preparing monthly financial reports
• Raising Disbursement invoices

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience as a Finance Manager or Bookkeeper within the Freight and Logis
• Adaptability to working independently, collaboratively and proactively
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet competing deadlines
• Ability to problem solve or find solutions
• Experience using CargoWise
• Excellent communication skills
