About ASH
Australian Sustainable Hardwoods is a privately-owned, Australian company based in Heyfield, Victoria. ASH has over 200 employees. The operation has manufactured high quality products for over 30 years with sales throughout Australia and for export.

As part of the finance team, you'll report directly to the Finance Manager and benefit from a solid support system and valuable mentorship.

The role
The role of the Graduate Accountant will include but not be limited to:
Assisting with reviewing expenses, accruals and prepayments
Preparing necessary journals
Assisting with reviewing capital expenditure and ensure correct accounting treatment
Support the preparation of monthly reports for various business units
Assisting with reconciliation processes
Involved in accounts payable and receivable functions, administration and reporting
Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
Other ad hoc duties as directed by the Finance manager
Your background
Completing or recently completed a Bachelor of Accounting or Finance
Competent with Microsoft Office Suite
Great communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to a team environment and working collaboratively
Strong appetite to learning and improving one’s skillset
Show the capacity to be creative, accountable and work autonomously
