Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and creative Marketing Specialist to join our Sydney-based team. In this full-time role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping our marketing strategy and brand presence across Australia, New Zealand, China, and greater Asia. You’ll work closely with leadership and clients to develop bilingual content, coordinate digital campaigns, and provide strategic market insights. Fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese is essential to engage effectively with the Chinese-speaking market. Occasional travel to Auckland, New Zealand, and China may be required.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and coordinate advertising strategies for cross-border financial services campaigns, with a focus on SME and institutional lending markets across Australia, New Zealand, and China.
Advise senior management on APAC and China market entry approaches, with emphasis on Chinese-language media, regional content adaptation, and consumer behavior insights.
Lead the creation of bilingual (English and Chinese) marketing collateral, including written copy, visual designs, and promotional videos tailored for Australian, New Zealand, and Chinese audiences.
Initiate and manage market research projects to evaluate product demand and uncover new opportunities in the Australia–New Zealand–China corridor.
Execute and monitor digital marketing campaigns across WeChat, Xiaohongshu, LinkedIn, and Google Ads, ensuring alignment with budget, timelines, and ROI targets.
Utilise CRM and analytics platforms to assess campaign performance and deliver actionable insights to internal stakeholders, particularly on China market responsiveness.
Key Selection Criteria
Postgraduate qualification in Marketing, New Media, or Communications.
Minimum 4 years’ experience in marketing or branding, preferably within fintech or digital products, with exposure to Chinese, Australian, and New Zealand markets.
Proven capability in bilingual brand development, content marketing, and social media strategy across Western and Chinese platforms.
Strong understanding of cross-cultural communication practices and media regulations in Australia, New Zealand, and China.
A portfolio demonstrating results-driven campaigns and high-quality digital media assets.
Demonstrated experience in managing multi-location, multilingual campaigns from concept to execution.
