Sydney Health & Care Services (SHCS) is expanding our community care team and looking for experienced Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to join us in delivering high-quality, person-centred support across the NDIS and aged care sectors.

This is a casual, hands-on role where you’ll work one-on-one with clients in their homes and communities – providing a mix of clinical care, personal support, and emotional connection.

✅ What You’ll Be Doing

Provide personal care: showering, grooming, continence, mobility

Support with health tasks: PEG feeding, catheter care, bowel care (training provided)

Assist clients with mental health and psychosocial support needs

Observe and report health changes promptly

Encourage independence, dignity, and community access

Document care and follow individual support plans

📌 All clinical tasks require relevant training, competency sign-off, and must be detailed in participant care plans. No RN delegation required unless specified.

👤 What You’ll Bring

Certificate III or IV in Health Services Assistance or equivalent

Minimum 12 months’ experience in aged care, disability, or community settings

Strong communication, reliability, and resilience

Ability to support clients with complex needs, including mental health

Willingness to travel between multiple sites

📋 Requirements

NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)

Valid First Aid and CPR certification

Driver’s licence + own insured vehicle

COVID-19 & Flu vaccinations (as per health directives)

Availability for early (6am+) or late (to 10pm) shifts
