Brimbank is continuously growing, with many transformational infrastructure projects about to break ground. A key focus of the coming years will be working with the State and Federal Governments to establish Melbourne Airport Rail; to complete redevelopment of Sunshine and Albion Stations; and the realisation of the Sunshine Precinct Masterplan which will Sunshine transformed into a CBD, vastly increasing local jobs, housing, businesses, services and tourism to provide for the many tens of thousands of people living, working and travelling through the Brimbank.

The Neighbourhood House Unit is looking for a Support Officer based at Sydenham Neighbourhood House. We are seeking a person who is motivated and experienced in connecting with local communities to enable facility access and program participation.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Ability to work in accordance with our values and behaviours
- Demonstrated experience in community liaison in a community setting
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Proven high level organisational skills to plan, prioritise and manage daily work and competing priorities within required timelines efficiently and effectively
- Demonstrated experience in working in an intercultural setting with an ability to work with and relate to a diverse range of clients, service users and service providers
- An understanding of the role of Neighbourhood Houses within the community, functions and services
- Demonstrated strong digital skills including computer, social media and internet skills with experience in using client data bases and various software packages including MS Office Suite and Outlook
