ABOUT THE ROLE
This position's primary aim is to act as the first point of contact for the operations of the Volunteer Office for Volunteer Event Health Services (VEHS) situated at Casuarina Centre. Responsibilities include offering support and assistance to volunteers, ensuring they can effectively carry out their roles in providing first aid services to the Northern Territory community, in accordance with the policies and procedures established by St John Ambulance (NT) Inc.
- Address enquiries from customers through telephone and email, ensuring responses are courteous and accurate while representing the Volunteer Office.
- Manage the processing of new member applications and event-related paperwork, ensuring accurate and timely data entry. Keep records organised and follow up on any necessary documentation required.
- Provide support to the Youth and Adult Divisions, as well as new members and non-clinical volunteers, ensuring compliance with Child Safeguarding policies is current.
- Gather statistics from events and various activities. Ensure that reports are finalised with precision and submitted punctually.
ABOUT YOU
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite and database management systems.
- Minimum of two years of experience in administrative or customer service roles, preferably within the volunteer or non-profit sector.
- Ability to foster and sustain positive relationships with volunteers and stakeholders is essential.
