This position requires an individual who has a sharp eye for detail, an ability to problem solve and work proactively alongside a team supporting members of the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation.
As Membership Services Officer, you will have aptitude for technology and CRM systems, maintain accuracy of membership records and ensure tactful investigation and expeditious resolution of payment anomalies.
About the Membership Services Officer role
As a Membership Services Officer you will assist our membership and the ANMF (Vic Branch) with the following customer-service based activities:
Be committed to providing customer support, with considered communication skills for both verbal conversations via phone and written communication via email to resolve issues and ensure a detailed and caring approach to ANMF member service.
Ensure all information required by ANMF from members is collected accurately and recorded in the relevant systems appropriately.
Understanding and abide by privacy laws in relation to membership data.
Maintain data integrity by executing reports, identifying errors and rectifying issues.
Processing membership applications, change of details, interstate transfers of memberships and resignations with a respectful approach to data integrity.
Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance services for ANMF members.
Key Selection Criteria
Demonstrated experience in a customer service role utilising customer service software, systems and the Microsoft office suite.
Experience with iMIS or alternative membership organisation CRM, would be advantageous, but not essential.
Have enthusiasm and capability for using technology and learning new applications and systems.
A commitment to customer service and advanced interpersonal skills.
A confident and professional telephone manner.
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
A capacity to represent ANMF with credibility and professionalism.
An ability to work and communicate effectively with a wide range of staff and members.
Empathy when dealing with challenging or sensitive member contact and maintain high levels of confidentiality, discretion and professionalism.
Previous union or member-based service experience highly regarded but not essential
The remuneration package includes:
Part-time (0.6 FTE) salary: $46,534 (Full Time equivalent of $73,677 per annum)
Plus 16.5% superannuation
5 weeks annual leave (pro-rata)
Additional public holidays and paid Christmas close down
Access to flexible and remote work options upon completion of successful training in the role
Required working days are Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
Please Note: it is mandatory for all ANMF (Vic Branch) staff to have the following:
Three COVID-19 vaccinations,
Flu Vaccination in the previous 12 months (or be willing to obtain),
You will be required to provide immunisation evidence prior to commencement.
