A rare opportunity currently exists for a motivated Group Finance & Insurance Manager to join one of Sydney’s most successful teams at Sydney City Toyota Waterloo.

Reporting to the General Manager, the focus of this role is to lead a team of 7 Business Managers on their day to day operations. Sydney City Toyota is one of the most successful and dynamic Toyota dealerships in Australia, and we are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Group Finance & Insurance Manager to join our high-performing team based at our Waterloo location.

About the Role:
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of 7 Business Managers across our group in Waterloo and Glebe. This is a strategic leadership position focused on driving finance and insurance performance, maintaining compliance, enhancing the customer experience, and ensuring the continued growth and profitability of the departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, support and motivate a team of 7 Business Managers to achieve individual and departmental targets

Drive finance and insurance penetration across all departments and ensure alignment with dealership objectives

Oversee daily operations of the F&I department, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and a customer-centric approach

Provide coaching, training, and performance development for Business Managers

Collaborate closely with the Sales, Aftermarket, and Management teams to maximise opportunities and deliver exceptional service

Monitor and report on key performance metrics, providing insight and strategies to continuously improve results

Maintain strong relationships with lenders, insurers, and other key business partners

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in a senior F&I or Group F&I Manager role, ideally within a high-volume dealership or group

Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills

Excellent knowledge of finance and insurance products, processes, and compliance standards

Results-driven with a passion for customer satisfaction and operational excellence

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment

Solid understanding of the retail automotive industry specialising in Finance and Insurance

Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, outstanding customer service skills, previous sales experience and the ability to profile customer's needs

Possess a positive and motivating personality which flows through to day to day interactions with colleagues and customers
