The HR Strategy Advisor plays a key role in delivering strategic HR projects through research, consultation, and in-depth analysis. This project-based role offers exposure to organisation-wide initiatives, contributing to the development of programs and frameworks that align with broader business objectives.

Job Duties:

As an HR Strategy Advisor, you will:
* Analyse workforce data, research, and strategic documents to identify trends and insights relevant to HR projects.
* Collaborate with HR and other stakeholders to design and implement impactful enterprise-wide HR initiatives.
* Interpret findings and strategic documents to enhance workforce projects that align with organisational goals.
* Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights and contribute to people and culture projects.
* Develop briefing papers with data-driven insights for review by senior leadership.
* Leverage diverse data sources to identify workforce trends and inform people and culture programs.
* Support enterprise-wide consultation efforts to shape HR initiatives and organisational strategies.

Key Role Requirements:

  • A background and/or qualifications in HR is not required. Open to consulting and other backgrounds that meet the below requirements.
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency, especially: PowerPoint: Able to create visually impactful presentations to communicate key messages (critical) and MS Forms: Experience using MS Forms (desirable)
  • Experience setting up online meetings/workshops using MS Teams (desirable)
  • Effective Communication: Well-developed written and verbal communication skills to support stakeholder management and influence (critical). Experience in drafting communications designed for executives or all-staff audiences (desirable)
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to research and draw clear links across different contexts and data sources to shape outputs (critical)
  • Agility and Resilience in adapting to shifting priorities based on organisational needs (critical)
  • Collaboration with managers and a diverse range of stakeholders, incorporating feedback into program design (critical)
  • Creativity and Innovation in using insights to address strategic workforce challenges (critical)
  • Initiative and Independence in leveraging available resources and data for planning and development (critical)
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills to build strong relationships across organisational levels (critical)
  • Consultation Skills and experience facilitating or supporting workshops (desirable)
  • Project Management or experience in project-based work, particularly engaging senior stakeholders (desirable)
  • Understanding of strategic HR concepts, including capability development, leadership capability, reward and recognition, values and behaviour (desirable)
