Job Title: Customer Service Representative – Beauty Industry

Location: Near Cronulla (Onsite Only)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm

Rate: $32.00–$36.00 per hour + Super (depending on experience)

Our client is a leading distributor of professional beauty brands to salons across Australia. We have been engaged to hire a highly experienced Customer Service Representative to support their high-performing and dynamic team.

Many of our clients prefer to try before they hire permanently, making this a great opportunity to get your foot in the door, impress the client, and then transition to a full-time position with such a unique business.

About the Role:
This is a hands-on position based in our head office near Cronulla. You’ll be the first point of contact for salon owners placing orders, following up on deliveries, and navigating our product range, which spans seven different brands.

You’ll be supported by a passionate team that values training, teamwork, and customer care. Again, while this starts as a temp role, there is a strong opportunity for it to become permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound calls and assist with salon orders
  • Enter orders into our system with high data accuracy while on the phone
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and product support
  • Troubleshoot delivery and product queries and escalate when necessary
  • Build rapport with salon clients and help drive brand loyalty
  • Manage customer interactions professionally and empathetically

To Be Successful, You Will Ideally Have:

  • At least 18 months of experience in an administrative, data entry role and/or business-to-business customer service experience.
  • A love of customer service and helping people
  • Strong communication, listening, and written skills
  • High level of accuracy, speed, and attention to detail
  • The ability to multitask and work confidently under pressure
  • Fast learning capabilities and resilience when navigating new systems and product ranges
  • A friendly, professional phone manner and a positive, can-do attitude
