We’re seeking a highly experienced Senior Legal Secretary to join a busy Defendant Workers’ Compensation practice based in Sydney CBD. This is a senior-level role supporting a dynamic legal team that acts for some of Australia’s most recognisable companies across supermarkets, transport, hospitality, and gaming sectors.

🔍 The Role

You’ll provide high-level administrative and legal support in a fast-paced, fully paperless environment. With a modern CBD office and some flexibility to work from home, this is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a well-structured and high-performing legal team.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

Drafting and formatting legal documents, correspondence, and court forms

Managing electronic files and diaries

Preparing briefs and liaising with clients and stakeholders

Billing and time entry support

Supporting senior lawyers across a broad portfolio of matters

✅ You’ll Need

5+ years’ experience as a legal secretary, including 3+ years in workers’ compensation (defendant)

Advanced organisational and document management skills

Experience supporting senior legal professionals in a high-volume practice

Professional communication and attention to detail

Strong technical proficiency in legal software
