We are looking to fill six financial accounting contract roles with various WA State Government departments. Initial assignments will be for 3-6 months with extension or direct contract opportunities.

Commencing when available these roles are based in Perth CBD and entail a five day working week(plus working from home flexibility).

Analyst - Budget and Reporting

You will ideally need:

In-depth knowledge of current and emerging trends in financial and asset accounting, including Australian Accounting Standards, Financial Management Act 2006 (but not essential).

Ability to develop, promote and implement financial accounting services in response to governmental and stakeholder expectations, and broader community values

Good analytical experience with financial modelling

Possession of a tertiary qualification in accounting or a related discipline and current memberships of the CAANZ, CPA or equivalent

Experience with any of the following accounting packages/software an advantage:

Oracle Fusion – FinHub

TechOne

SIMS

EPM – Reporting system used to extract data

Oaks – Budgeting tool to check end of month balancing

Very good hourly rates (from $64.61 p/h to $85.93 p/h + super)
