Are you an experienced veterinary receptionist or a vet nurse who has realised your true passion is to help pets and owners by delivering excellent client care?
Located in Melbourne’s vibrant inner west, Epsom Road Vet is growing, and we are looking for a dedicated, friendly, and capable professional who is as passionate about people as they are about pets.
As the first welcome and point of contact for our clients, you will help set the tone for their entire experience with us. If you enjoy building strong relationships with people, staying organised in a dynamic environment, and being a key part of a close-knit team—we’d love to meet you.
This role is for 30-38 hours per week and may involve some shared Saturday shifts (up until 1.30pm). We are closed Sundays and Public holidays.
What your day will involve:
Welcoming clients and managing front desk operations with professionalism and care.
Scheduling appointments and managing client and supplier enquiries and communications (in person, phone, digital) with efficiency and empathy.
Providing support to both clients and our medical team.
Other administration duties including front of house inventory management, marketing support, and office duties to keep the clinic running efficiently and smoothly.
We’re looking for someone who:
Has experience as a veterinary receptionist or is a qualified vet nurse with a strong customer service focus.
Communicates clearly and confidently, even during busy times
Is proactive, well-organised, can multitask and prioritise.
Enjoys working autonomously as well as part of a team.
An interest in social media is an advantage.
