About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Renmark, SA. This role involves enabling individuals with disabilities to lead independent and meaningful lives through personalised and professional care.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Support clients in achieving their goals as outlined in their person-centred plans.
- Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Facilitate social, recreational, and educational activities to promote well-being and community participation.
- Monitor clients' health and well-being, reporting any changes to supervisors.
- Provide safe and reliable transportation for clients to appointments and activities.
- Uphold the dignity, privacy, and rights of clients at all times.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with organisational policies.
- Administer medication as per care plans and training.
Essential Criteria

Hold or be willing to obtain: - Stoma Training: Experience and certification in stoma care.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- DHS Working with Children Clearance
- HLTAID011 & HLTAID012 First Aid and CPR Certification
- Manual Handling Certification
- Face to Face Medication Administration Training
- Have a valid South Australian driver’s license and a reliable, roadworthy vehicle.
- Possess a satisfactory National Police Clearance.
