About the Role

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Internal Compliance Officer to join our dynamic and student-focused Registered Training Organisation (RTO). This full-time role is based in Brisbane CBD and plays a critical role in maintaining internal audit processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting continuous improvement across our training and assessment services.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and implement an internal audit and quality assurance program

Monitor compliance with the Standards for RTOs 2015 and the ESOS Act

Assist with preparation for re-registration audits and manage audit documentation

Provide support to Trainers and Assessors to ensure compliance readiness

Identify, investigate, and follow up on areas of non-compliance

Develop and maintain clear, actionable procedures and internal communication

Liaise with relevant departments to drive corrective and preventative actions

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Proven experience in an RTO compliance, quality, or administrative role

A working knowledge of the Standards for RTOs 2015 and ESOS Act

High-level IT literacy, particularly with Microsoft Excel and document formatting

Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to write clear instructions and policies

Strong organisational and follow-up skills to ensure tasks are completed

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while engaging with multiple internal stakeholders

Desirable

Previous experience supporting an RTO through a successful ASQA audit

Demonstrated ability to address and correct non-compliances
