THE ROLE
Working heavy and light industrial sector the successful candidate will be expected to find and develop opportunities within the OEM space (i.e., Manufacturer of: capital equipment, agriculture, lifting and rigging, waste management and other related industries). You will be selling our client's range of hydraulic fluid system components (Fittings, valves, regulators, hoses, tubing, filters, cyclinders, instrumentation and measurement devices etc) as an aftermarket service. Selling specifically to OEM customers in the industrial space, whilst leveraging the companies franchise network to conduct joint calls. You will deal on a daily basis with purchasing managers, maintenance and production managers and engineers. Your role is of high importance to the company as you are on the front line bringing in business and as such are treated as a rockstar within the team.

THE CANDIDATE

• THE MOST IMPORTANT THING: Technical sales experience within the industrial space (i.e., mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, capital equipment manufacturers and other related products).
• The ideal candidate will have come from a similar role and have a sales engineering / technical sales type role.
• It will be high advantageous if you have experience selling to OEMs within the agriculture, mining, lifting and rigging, earthmoving and other related industries.
• Having sold a range of industrial products (i.e. mechanical, electrical, automation, drives, instrumentation) is highly desirable when applying for this position, as is some form of technical experience, either at a trade or degree level.
• In terms of soft skills, we are looking for someone with a technical aptitude, stable track record and has a structured sales process.
