NoosaCare are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Marketing and Media Officer to work on permanent part-time basis.

About the Position
Reporting to the People Learning and Culture Manager, but working closely with the CEO, the Marketing and Media Officer position is responsible for ensuring that NoosaCare’s communications, marketing and events are delivered to an exceptional standard.
The Marketing and Media Officer is responsible for coordinating NoosaCare’s presence on various social media platforms, radio, print and publicity events. This role will focus on providing engaging content on social media that is geared towards current and prospective NoosaCare residents and their families as well as prospective staff. NoosaCare is part of the community, and our communication, marketing and events are reflective and respectful of this strong connection.
About You
You will bring enthusiasm and professionalism to the role and be passionate about ensuring the development and implementation of high-quality marketing and media solutions that engage audiences and promote NoosaCare. We are looking for someone that has:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, communication, commerce majoring in marketing, public relations and/or advertising or equivalent.
Ability to develop current marketing content and planning including taking photos to showcase daily life, events and the organisation culture.
Support the procurement of high quality and cost-efficient resources and negotiating with suppliers as required.
Strong understanding and working knowledge of privacy and confidentiality requirements associated with publishing media materials.
Ability and experience in managing and responding to current marketing trends.
Maintaining and working within all work health and safety legislation.
Experience working with a diverse demographic.
Have an eye for detail and a strong work ethic.
Strong customer service, face-to-face and written communication skills.
Job functions include:
Ensure all communications are consistent with NoosaCare’s vision and mission.
Coordinate social media posts on a pre-planned calendar including developing photos and videos and engaging written captions, for CEO approval.
Work collaboratively with different areas of the business to promote current events across both facilities in Tewantin and Cooroy.
Manage various events, expos and projects, liaising with internal and external stakeholders as required.
Identify areas of opportunity for marketing and brand awareness with a focus on impact to recruitment, reputation in our community and sales of NoosaCare services.
Photograph and document events at NoosaCare as well as the day-to-day operations at the facility for promotion across social media platforms.
Work with NoosaCare’s external website developer on the continuous development of NoosaCare’s website.
Qualifications and certifications:
Driver’s license
Please note a clear criminal history check is required to be successful in this role and renewed every 3 years.
Hold a food safety supervisor certification (or be willing to obtain)
Right to work in Australia with no restrictions
