Woodville South GP is a modern take on the local GP practice - a beloved place by those in the community. We have a focus on quality health care and in particular preventative health. Our nurses have an important role in delivering this service to our patients. We strive to work with our patients to achieve their healthcare goals.

Qualifications & experience

Unrestricted AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse

Experience in general practice ideal, but not essential

Good communication skills, empathy and a desire to do the best for your patients and colleagues.

Tasks & responsibilities

Coordinating chronic disease management and health assessments

Conducting immunisations for children and adults

Wound assessment and management

Assisting with procedures such as skin biopsies, iron infusion and IUD insertions.

Being involved in clincal governance, working with other members of the team to review and improve processes.

Assisting with monitoring and ordering stock and equipment
