Straight off the bat, what do we need from you?

We’re after someone with a bit of drive—not someone who just sits around waiting to be told what to do.

If you’re the type to see what needs doing and get on with it, you’ll fit right in.

A solid work ethic—show up, do the job, and do it well.

Reliability—be on time, follow instructions and WHS processes, and be willing to learn.

If you’ve got a forklift ticket or experience working with grain, that’s a bonus, but it’s not essential.

There’s a new name in the rice game, and we need someone who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in.

You’ll be working with a sustainable rice milling business in Jerilderie, stepping in and assisting with the Milling team.

The work will include keeping an eye on the mill, tidying up, forklift work (if you’re licensed), and anything else needed to keep things running smoothly. A big part of the job right now (and for the foreseeable future) is staying on top of where the finished product is at.

You’ll need to keep track of when they need changing over.

You’ll also be handling the pallet wrapping machine and getting things prepped for dispatch, whether that’s to another shed in Jerilderie or the rest of the country.

What will set you apart? If you’ve got production experience, great.
A forklift licence? Even better.

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, we need someone who’s not just going to sit around—we’re looking for someone with a bit of get-up-and-go!

You’ll need good steel cap boots and tough work pants and they will sort out the rest of the uniform.
