What you'll be doing
As a Dental Technician, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our clinical dental staff and students by delivering high-quality dental laboratory work. From relines and repairs to overseeing daily lab operations, your work will help ensure patients receive timely, quality dental care.
- Perform a variety of dental laboratory technical tasks to a high standard, including acrylic work, repairs, and relines
- Provide technical advice to clinical staff and liaise on complex cases within your area of expertise
- Manage daily laboratory operations and supervise other Dental Technicians within the department
- Maintain infection control standards and ensure all work leaving the laboratory meets strict quality control requirements
- Participate in meetings, audits, and professional development to maintain current technical knowledge

Essential Criteria:
- Qualifications: completion of Advanced Diploma of Dental Prosthetics or equivalent as deemed by employer.
Selection Criteria:
- Minimum 6 years of experience as qualified Dental Technician.
- Demonstrated sound technical skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills and an ability to liaise effectively with a range of individuals.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team and independently.
- Commitment to continuing education.
- Demonstrated ability to work to a deadline while providing a high standard of dental laboratory work with daily allocations
- Completion of Advanced diploma of Dental Prosthetics or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to monitor quality control of laboratory work.
