Our client is seeking a construction lawyer and they can offer:

Reporting to the Head of Legal, your responsibilities will include:
Collaborate closely with senior lawyers and work with the business to provide prompt, practical and commercial legal advice to support growth.
Support the team across a variety of matters including construction, procurement, facility operations, IP & Trademarks, real estate/property, energy & renewable power, corporate structuring, capital raising and general commercial contracts such as confidentiality agreements.
Manage external legal counsel.
Provide input and support on global and regional initiatives.
Promote legal and compliance awareness to the business, including delivering training sessions.
Our clients’ requirements include:
Bachelor of Laws and a current Australian Practising Certificate.
A minimum of 8 years PQE, with training gained at a tier 1 or 2 law firm.
Construction/major projects law experience will be viewed favourably, as will secondment or in-house experience.
Excellent drafting, negotiating, and transaction management skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with people from different backgrounds.
