As Senior Legal Counsel, you will be partnering with business leaders to shape our commercial direction, while mentoring junior lawyers. Reporting to the Senior General Counsel, you'll be a trusted advisor, handling complex commercial agreements, ensuring compliance ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and proactively identifying and mitigating legal risks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and advising on a variety of commercial contracts
• Providing proactive legal advice to internal stakeholders on commercial law matters, ensuring business initiatives are legally sound.
• Identifying and analysing legal risks and developing effective strategies to mitigate them.
• Keeping abreast of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry developments.
• Developing and implementing internal legal policies and procedures.
• Managing and instructing external counsel when necessary.
• Providing legal training to internal teams as required.

What We Are Looking For:

• Qualified lawyer with 5+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE)
• Demonstrable experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of complex commercial agreements.
• Excellent knowledge of contract law and commercial law.
• Proven ability to provide clear, concise, and commercially focused legal advice.
• Strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of business principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
