Talent International is currently recruiting for a Resource Coordinator to work for a NSW Government client based in Potts Hill. The position is a 4-month contract role with the possiblity of extension and are paying between $400 to $470 per day + Super.
8 hours per day / 40 hours per week
Technical
- Arrange people, major and minor Plant and Equipment (P&E) into crews and availabilities to meet the capacity plan requirements as a rolling monthly/ weekly resource schedule businesses using the minimum resource levels by type specified in the capacity plan, endorse / not endorse leave applications from field staff (people leaders retain approval rights)
- Accurately maintain resource availabilities within the Field Mobility System (FMS) at least three months in advance and adjust for changes in a timely manner when changes occur.
- Manage resourcing related scheduling exceptions
- Manage fatigue impacts on future resource schedules
- Review design review, network enquiries, trial, and Flow isolation &/or Flow management (FIFM) requests, assess their complexity, and either reject or allocate to relevant Operational Planner or Network Maintenance team member
- Create Work orders and book appointments for disinfections and shutdowns to be performed Support dynamic scheduling of operational work.
- Assign resource level job plans for trials and installation of temporary pressure gauges
- Maintain alignment between SWConnect work requests scheduling and resource availability data and FMS tasks for inflight trials, disinfections, and shutdowns
- Optimise field resource utilisation
- Report 'out of scope / task exceptions' to manager
- Contribution model reporting
Systems Accountabilities
- Provide accurate and timely data entry and interacts with information systems.
Experience
- Experience in managing resource allocation in an efficient manner to meet operating licence requirements
- Experience in evaluating of water, recycled water, wastewater, and stormwater system designs, or equivalent, to ensure new assets can be effectively operated and maintained
- Experience in use of computerised systems and/or maintenance and/or process management systems
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems relevant to water, recycled water, wastewater, stormwater systems
Skills
- Knowledge of network operations to deliver water, recycled water, wastewater, and stormwater product and services to meet customer and stakeholder expectations
- Proficient in MS Office systems
- Problem solving, lateral thinking, communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Skills and experience in dealing with customer, stakeholder, and regulator issues
- Knowledge of the appropriate regulatory, operating licence, and customer contract requirements
- Advanced communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to translate technical outcomes to operational needs
- Proficiency in the use of computerised field mobility, maintenance, and process management systems
