The Role
We are looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager to lead and deliver our marketing, communications and brand initiatives increasing awareness, enhancing SCC reputation, and supporting growth through targeted campaigns and effective stakeholder engagement. The position will lead a Team of three Marketing and Communications specialists, driving integrated campaigns across digital and traditional channels, developing brand-aligned content and supporting service line marketing in alignment with SCC strategic objectives.
The role includes the following:
Marketing Planning: Develop and implement the annual marketing and communications plan, aligned with organisational goals and stakeholder priorities.
Campaign Coordination: Coordinate brand, service, and community campaigns across multiple channels including social media, web, print, and PR.
Digital Marketing Delivery: Plan and execute digital campaigns including paid advertising, search engine optimisation, email newsletters, and social media initiatives.
Team Support and Supervision: Supervise and support team members, freelancers, and contractors as needed, ensuring high-quality content and delivery.
Content Development: Create and review written, visual, and multimedia content, ensuring it meets accessibility standards and brand voice.
Media Management: Manage media relationships and coordinate proactive and reactive media responses.
Website and SEO Oversight: Oversee website content strategy and SEO performance.
Reporting and Insights: Lead monthly reporting, data analysis, and insights generation to optimise future campaigns.
Award Submissions: Identify relevant awards and oversee the end-to-end submission process.
Strategic Support: Support the Head of Marketing, Process Transformation and Risk to drive strategic initiatives, develop actionable insights from data analytics, and deliver comprehensive reporting that informs business decisions.
Stakeholder and vendor engagement. Build and maintain productive relationships with internal teams, external partners, and service providers to ensure aligned marketing objectives, effective collaboration, and maximum value from partnerships.
Continuous improvement. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance marketing processes, implement innovative solutions, and optimise workflow efficiency to elevate team performance and marketing outcomes.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years in a marketing and communications role, with experience managing people or project.
Experience developing and implementing campaigns across multiple channels Familiarity with the Aged Care, Health, or Not-for-Profit Sector is highly regarded.
Demonstrate proven leadership skills, with a focus on nurturing teamwork, fostering a collaborative environment, and driving collective success across various organisational departments.
Illustrate robust capabilities in planning, executing, and finalising projects effectively, ensuring alignment with organisational goals, strict adherence to deadlines, and budget management.
Possess outstanding communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and compellingly, thereby fostering understanding and motivating teams to embrace and implement changes.
Experience with digital platforms, CMS, analytics, and social media.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving in challenging situations, employing creativity and practical solutions to overcome obstacles and maintain progress.
