About the Role
As the IT Support Officer, you will:
Provide professional and friendly IT support to staff and students
Troubleshoot technical issues across hardware, software, and network systems in this helpdesk customer facing role
Provide assistance with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment
Maintain accurate inventory of IT equipment and software licences to ensure compliance with the School’s needs
Support the development and maintenance of network and system infrastructure
Ensure best practices in data security and backup
Provide training and guidance on IT tools and systems
The successful applicant will:
Have 1 or more year of experience working in IT support, if you have experience in a similar role that is great.
Have a strong technical knowledge of operating systems (Windows/macOS/Linux), networks and hardware
Be able to manage multiple tasks and work well both independently and as a part of a team
Demonstrate a willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments
Work effectively within a collaborative team environment and contribute positively to the wider school community
Be punctual, sharp, and dependable
Good communicator and provider of amazing customer service with clear interpersonal skills and a great eye for detail
Demonstrate the School’s values, Courage, Curiosity and Integrity.
You must hold a current Working with Children Check, Police Check and have the right to live and work in Australia.
